EMortal, a peptide ingredient discovered in peas
For many years the BioSpectrum and SkinCure Life Science Institutes searched nature for ingredients that could help skin look younger. By breaking pea protein down precisely with enzymes, the team obtained nano-sized peptides. In laboratory cell-culture studies, these peptides supported human stem cells under adverse, serum-free conditions and also showed favorable activity in ordinary skin cell cultures.
The team named the ingredient EMortal, published the findings in Korean and international journals, and protected the technology with patents. EMortal became the starting point of the StemCello Revitalizing™ brand.
