Skincare developed through two decades of stem cell research

StemCello Revitalizing™ is the premium anti-aging skincare brand of SkinCure, Inc., developed with the BioSpectrum Life Science Institute. The brand uses stem cells as a laboratory tool for finding new cosmetic ingredients. The products contain no stem cells, stem cell extracts or culture media. They contain plant-derived ingredients that were screened in stem cell models, published in peer-reviewed journals and protected by patents.

Our approach

Stem cells as a research instrument, not an ingredient

StemCello Revitalizing product range in silver and gold packaging
StemCello Revitalizing™Six product lines for face, eye area, scalp and body.

Many products borrow the words “stem cell” without publishing any research. Others add animal- or human-derived stem cell material whose safety is hard to verify. We took a different route.

Our scientists apply candidate plant ingredients to cultured human stem cells, place those cells under stress, and measure which ingredients keep them proliferating and functioning. The ingredients that pass are then tested on skin cells, evaluated for safety, and developed into cosmetic raw materials.

The result is a range built on documented ingredients: EMortal from pea protein, isorhamnetin from sea buckthorn, Willex from white willow bark, and established actives such as sh-Oligopeptide-1, copper tripeptide-1 and tranexamic acid, delivered in our multilamellar liposome system.

Why we chose this path →

From screening to formula

How an ingredient reaches a StemCello product

Step 1 · Screen

Stem cell assay

Candidates are applied to cultured stem cells under serum-free stress. Proliferation is measured first, then the mechanism.

Step 2 · Confirm

Skin cell tests

Selected substances are applied to several skin cell types to confirm activity beyond stem cells.

Step 3 · Register

Publish & protect

Findings are published, patents are filed, and the ingredient is listed in the PCPC International Cosmetic Ingredient Dictionary & Handbook.

Step 4 · Formulate

Liposome delivery

The ingredient is loaded into FMLT multilamellar liposomes and evaluated in human use tests.

Formulation technology

FMLT: multilamellar liposomes made at atmospheric pressure

Instead of synthetic emulsifiers, StemCello formulas use Cellike, a plant-lecithin system that forms multilamellar liposomes averaging about 500–1,000 nm under standard 3,000 rpm homogenization. The phosphatidylcholine bilayers match the main phospholipid of cell membranes, which gives the formulas high skin affinity and low irritation.
